Operation LaserTag was founded in 2024 with a simple idea: give people the most unique outdoor combat experience in Medway. Not in a warehouse, not in a car park — at Fort Amherst, one of Britain's best-preserved Georgian military fortifications.

We're a family-run business and proud of it. That means you deal with us directly, we actually care about your experience, and every session gets our full attention.

THE VENUE

Fort Amherst

Fort Amherst is a Grade I listed scheduled monument — the most complete surviving example of a Napoleonic-era fortification in the country. Built in 1756 and expanded throughout the 18th and 19th centuries, it was the principal defence for the Royal Naval Dockyard at Chatham.

Our laser tag arena is set entirely outside within the historic Prince William Barracks — a unique and extraordinary setting that no purpose-built arena can replicate. Real battlements. Real history. Real terrain. Every game plays out differently, and every session uses the natural landscape of the fort to create moments you genuinely won't get anywhere else.

We are proud to operate within this incredible historic site and we treat it with the respect it deserves.
